installation tips
Laminated MDF molding can give you a cheaper alternative to real wood, which looks similar when it is installed. Here are some tips on how to properly install a laminated MDF.
1.material
When you install the laminated MDF, you will want to make sure you use the right materials. One of the best ways to install a laminated MDF is with a nail gun. If you use a nail gun, you should use 18mm pneumatic nails. If you want to bond laminated MDF, you will want to make sure you use a white polyvinyl alcohol adhesive. If you need to fill a laminated MDF, you should use a filler such as white lightning to do the job.
2. Precautions
Be very careful when using laminated MDF, it is very fragile. If you are cutting laminated MDF, you should consider using three carbide finishing blades. This will allow you to make a very clean cut without leaving any rough edges. If you have rough edges, you can grind them with sandpaper.
