The main function of the edge sealing strip is to seal the section of the board, to avoid the damage of the environment and the adverse factors (mainly water) in the use process to the board, to prevent the formaldehyde volatilization inside the board, and to achieve the effect of beautiful decoration.

The PVC sealing strip material is made up of PVC resin, calcium carbonate powder and various excipients (stabilizer, DOP oil, ACR, stearic acid, carbon white powder, toner, anti-aging agent, etc.). The trimming effect of the edge banding strip is related to the proportioning ratio of the base material.

1、 PVC wood edge banding

It is printed on PVC substrate with ink and then roll coated with UV paint for curing.

Wood edge banding to present a good simulation effect depends on the quality of ink. At present, the price of ink in the market varies from 20 yuan / kg to 160 yuan / kg. If the high-quality ink is used to print the edge banding, the simulation effect of the edge banding is close to that of the board, and the printing level is rich, and the color fading in the room is not obvious within three years. At present, the edge banding with rich printing layers is mainly three-color printing, followed by two-color printing and one color printing.

2、 ABS edge banding

ABS resin is one of the most advanced materials in the world. The edge banding strip made of ABS resin is not doped with calcium carbonate. After trimming, it looks bright and smooth, and will never appear white. However, the market price of ABS resin is about 12800 yuan / ton, the production cost is high, and the price of ABS resin is about 1 times higher than that of PVC edge banding strip of the same specification in the market promotion. The solid wood skin refers to the edge sealing strip, which is mainly used for furniture with wood skin. The non-woven fabric is pasted on the back of the product to increase the strength of the veneer, prevent the veneer from cracking, and the finger joint length is 200m / roll, so the product can be used continuously on the edge banding machine, improve the working efficiency and trim the edge neatly. The disadvantages of single wood veneer edge sealing are solved.

3、 Melamine edge banding, commonly known as paper edge banding, has the advantages of being easy to stick, not easy to stretch and not easy to deform in case of cold and hot, but because of its brittle and easy to fold characteristics, it is easy to crash in furniture production and transportation.
