一、 What is film faced plywood?

 

Film faced plywood is an exterior plywood used in building and construction projects. It has special film coating on surface made with phenol melamine glue, which gives the plywood higher resistance to moisture, abrasion, chemical degradation and fungal attack compared to ordinary plywood.

1)One molding

2) Two molding

1.Planking: The core board is laid by hand in the order of one layer with glue and one layer without glue. In general, even layer rubber plate

3.Prepressing: Press the plywood with mechanical pressure to allow the glue to work and preform the plywood.(16-17Pa,50 minutes)

4.Deal surface: Repair irregularities and gaps in plywood surfaces with small core panels.

5.Hot-press: The substrate enters the hot press. (135℃,15Pa about,50minutes)

7.Sanding: wait one daydry board.

8.Sawing: Cut the plywood into specification sheets. The edge is coated with phenolic adhesive, which has better water resistance.

9.SandingPutty is mainly composed of WBP glue, talcum powder, scraping the surface of the uneven.

 

10.Laminated with the board and hot-pressing(135, 20Pa, 3-4 minutes)

11.QC: Check the quality and pick out the bad plywood

12.Printing: Waterproof paint apray.

3)The difference between one molding and two molding?

The two molding of the film faced plywood is made by two heat presses and one sanding for better flatness.
